Look at all the words that Floyd has spoken against Bob. Saying stuff like manny has to leave Arum before he would fight him. Now Bob is shining brighter than ever before, and is still heavily involved in this fight in every single way.Bob Arum defeated Floyd in every way. :yep:hey:D:lol:

    ? How so?

Bob wanted 50/50 for many years and now he's not getting it.

The only person who loses is Pac

The Bobfather is going to take almost all of that money, I would not doubt.

“Let me tell you something, and this, I really feel very, very strongly about. That weekend celebrates Cinco De Mayo, which is a Mexican Holiday, which commemorates the outstanding, courageous stand of a lot of Mexican civilians who turned back the French Imperial army, and it’s a significant holiday in Mexico and among Mexican Americans who live in the United States. That being said, neither Mr. Mayweather, nor Mr. Pacquiao, nor Mr. Cotto, who is Hispanic, but not Mexican.

“The only Mexican in the group is Canelo Alvarez, who is a big attraction among the Mexican people. And to poach on that date, which is a Mexican holiday by non-Mexicans, shows a terrible disrespect for the Mexican people, both those living in Mexico and those living in the United States. And anybody who does the poaching ought to be ashamed of themselves. That goes for hotels and that goes for fighters and that goes for any of us. I’m willing to make that statement.”

Schooled means being cut out of 10%? (Which is worth millions, it's not like 10 percent on $100) They could have had 50/50. Mayweather didn't move off a single major negotiating point. Not one.

Reaching on this one. In regard to the business side of things: Arum moved, not Mayweather. This looks like the same contract that should have been signed in 2010, except that one was 50/50, not 60/40. AND, Mayweather got no cut off date for testing. Mayweather offered 14 day cutoff in 2010. So they took less money, and didn't bother with the cutoff request this time around. Mayweather didn't change a thing.

Remind us again: Who walked away from those negotiations and said the deal was dead? Only to take the same deal essentially, for 10% less, 5 years later? That's "schooling" to you? I guess you don't work in business.

60/40 of the US pay for view. How are the the world wide rights split ? Arums deals with the world's biggest gamble center Macau may make him the King of Kings in this deal.

Floyd lost on gloves. That could play a role in the fight.

you know you can say bob schooled floyd etc

but dont say "aww manny is still with arum an fight got made"

bob arum was still putting up roadblocks (and ridiculous ones at that) as early as jan 2015.. mexican date etc etc what a ****ing joke. you wanna talk about floyd being pressured to make the fight by moonvez but its very clear floyds face to face meeting with pac really shook arum

like many pac fans on this forum made post after post banking on the possibility floyd would never fight pac arum banked on the fact that floyds ego would never see him make the first move to pac out of fear of seeming desperate

The one point of contention that Mayweather lost out on was with HBO. He didn't want Lampley commentating on the fight, but he is HBO' s face for HBO boxing. It's kinda lame as I don't like Lampley much.

As far as Arum, why would the TS root for Arum? Arum is a greedy promoter, he's not out there in the ring putting his life on the line.

To me, that was obviously a bargaining chip they were using to get leverage. Floyd countered that by tempting Cotto, who never wound up going along with the Canelo deal.

Floyd: I offer you 40m Manny?

Floyd: Take it or leave it but you have no say.
