JDS-Cain 5, ZZZSP-Hardy, Silva-Maia, superfights bro. All ufc fights are superfights, check yourself.
exactly, and all ufc fighters are world class strikers, wrestlers, submission guys and they look good naked-dana
Evidence also exists that bacteria infested teeth and gums lead to a swelling inside the body, It can further cause a heart and artery complication. It is also suggested by medical experts that one should consult a dentist every six months.....
Floyd-Canelo is a super fight only to those that overrate Alvarez. It's a mismatch in every department except for size.
This is true and i am completely agreed with you amhlilhaus. Anyway nice thread and thank you all for commenting. Keep it up.
It can also be argued that the UFC don't need to make superfights in the same way that boxing does. Each MMA in the UFC has credibility which is rooted in the fact that they are continously in competative match ups and fighting at their level in a quest to break through to the next level. The champions (generally) defend against the best possible opponent available. There's a competative framework that doesn't call for fighters to jump up and down in weight non stop. Boxing tends to require superfights to counteract the endless stream of shite we have to endure for close to 12 to 36 months before a big fight is actually made. Contenders are becoming contenders by beating a stream of bums and champions are solidifying their position as champion by beating fighters who don't deserve to fight for the title. In the UFC big fights come and go and you don't think twice, in boxing the world is told to wait on tenterhooks only to be let down.
Didn't you hear? Cain Valesquez is probably going to fight Dos Santos FOR THE THIRD TIME?!!!! If that's not super...
meh you get one good fight per ppv, in mma you get a bunch of interesting fights , get over it. i don't even watch modern boxing anymore , go watch some classic fights cause today everyone just hugs in a fake ass fixed **** .
You're missing the point that the UFC and MMA in general puts on more competitive 50/50 fights in one card than boxing does in 6 months. The boxing model since the 60's seems to be build up guys with an emphasis on protecting their '0' then when their records are padded to about 30-0 put them in with another fighter with a 30-0 record: effectively the first real fight that they have a chance of losing in their career and calling that a super fight. Boxing got away with putting ridiculously irrelevant fights on the undercards of ridiculously one sided main events for years. However once they started following all the foreplay of the record padding without delivering the 'super fight' at the end of it, boxing can go **** itself as far as I'm concerned. In the UFC, GSP V Silva or Silva V Jones or Jones V Velasquez are actual super fights between dominant champions thinking about leaving their divisions in order to face the biggest challenge possible. In boxing the term 'super fight' has come to mean 'competitive fight' The two best fighters in the past decade were the same weight and that didn't even happen for ****s sake. What a ****ing joke. I seriously can't be arsed following a boxer and investing in him for 8 years before he fights anyone half decent anymore so I watch MMA and have grown to appreciate the grappling/submission game. Ever since I have been following MMA closely (maybe 7 years) the quality of the striking etc has improved tenfold, and since I have stopped watching boxing I don't compare their punches to boxers which is an apples/oranges situation anyway.
TS must have missed Jones v Sonnen. Superfights are the norm bro. Just take a look at the next UFC PPV, superfights galore and so many relevant fights/fighters. Do you even trane?
