Broner beat a C-Lever Paulie Malignaggi and he was a Floyd wannabe. Yeah I look up to people, but I wouldn't be a carbon copy. He was just too ****y and it hurt him. Also the way he left the ring afterwards showed NO CLASS. The boy can still bounce back, but that's up to him. Look when Pacquiao lost the fight time people talked about him. Then he bounced back before that whole Bradley thing. It's all up to Broner now. He can be the FUTURE of Boxing if he puts his mind to it.
Always said it Lost to Quintero and PDL been beating up smaller fighter his whole career His best win was DeMarco and he poorly beat Paulie. Totally underestimated Maidana...a cherry pick gone wrong. Broner thought he could do what Alexander, Khan and Kotelnik did...NOPE.
No he can't be the future of boxing. Like Miniq already said his record was artificial and just a good but not great fighter that got hyped as being the next big thing. If he had been anything else as an American Floyd imposter who got picked up by the networks he wouldn't have been a "3 weight champ" at all.
:yep Adiren was OVER hyped by some but let's be real.......he deserves a lot of credit for aiming high. Moving up 2 division isn't as easy as Manny made it look. Broner was good enough to edge a skillful welterweight like Paulie but a hardened power puncher who is relentless was a bit aggressive. The fact that he went 12 in my opinion was impressive given the fact Adrien was a lightweight 2 fights ago and the fact that he is also only 24. He's not the next Floyd or Manny but he can still have a great career.
Let's be honest here he found his level, he has it in him to beat Maidana but that is as high as he will ever get. His footwork is a joke and he needs to learn to defend tucking your chin into your shoulder then standing square on is just plain stupid. Glad he got beat never understood the hype and he is a disgrace of a human being ... Mr Pibb I told you YDKSAB
I'm just pointing out his move in the last 2 fights because it was a leap frog type deal that people think ANYONE can manage because a guy by the name of Manny made it look like cake. What Broner did was impressive in my honest opinion even in the loss......because I had a realistic perception of his level where most everyone else believed the hype. He is a top fighter at 24 and that should be respected. Everyone loses when you step up and face the best consistently. Broner steooed up and took an L but he might come back a better boxer because of it.
Well, he hyped himself so much that it was hard for lots of people not to go along with it. Now he needs to spend some time at home meditating on all the mistakes he made outside of the ring and also in the ring.
