So Brookz DUCKED Jesse Vargas? Wtf is Kell doing with his career

Probably still holding out for that Khan fight. It's a shame it probably won't come to fruition, because it's a very intriguing matchup. Sadly the truth is that Khan never needed Kell Brook and I'm not massively fond of Khan , that's just the truth.

 

Isn’t it time to stop ragging on Brook, with all the damage he’s taken? Or has it not been enough for you?

 

Why make stupid threads when you've not the faintest idea what you're talking about. There are a number of possible reasons why this fight couldn't be made and you know precisely zero of them. Unless you do. In which case provide hard proof.

 

He should just retire

 

This angers me so much. Kell is one of my favourite active fighters, I just love his style. But he needs to just stop chasing Khan, and forget Eddie's bum brigade of opponents. Ignore that and fight Hurd, fight that idiot Charlo. Do a spence rematch at 154. Even Lara. Please... Anything but the options Vargas, Liam Smith or sitting there waiting for Khan. It's the wrong way to go.

Brook can still become a true Hall of Famer. He CAN right the wrongs with Spence, he CAN beat Hurd and Charlo. He just needs to stand up and ask Eddie to negotiate and stop doing the lazy options.

 

Yeah from UK but I happen to think Brook has under achieved and that his career has been horribly managed by Hearn and his dad or whoever advises him. He'll retire not having fulfilled his potential. One thing he's not though is a ducker. You don't fight Porter, GGG and Spence if you want an easy life. He's had too many low key nights but I don't think it's on him

 

I agree. I like Kell but I’ve mentioned this before and I think his problem is motivation. He can’t get himself up for just any fight. There’s no money in the Hurd and Charlo fights in comparison to the khan fight which he so desperately wants. I feel sorry for Kell.

 

He clearly doesn't have the fire in him anymore. Let him do what he wants.

Why is Vargas going to 154? He couldn't even beat tiny Manny or tiny Broner, he will get destroyed by the Lions at 154
