    Good post :good

Taylor looked like a BUM against a SHOT post Calzaghe Lacy, so I would predict Kessler wins by KO inside 10.

The same people who had Pavlik as an elite, who said Lacy would smash Calzaghe....myopic cretins.
Kessler will batter Taylor and Dawson would be a tight, tough fight, but Dawson is not a banger so quit with that.

Thanks, and excellent post yourself. :thumbsup

I could see your scenario playing out, for sure. Kessler is better, and bigger (though not necessarily longer), than Pavlik. I'm sure Taylor would have some moments in the fight but I don't think he could hang with Kessler over the course of the contest.

Kessler can fight with anybody, and gave Calzaghe as much trouble as anyone has who wasn't feigning low blows or one-punch-and-clinching. And he had a wrist injury, supposedly, in that fight. I don't think Taylor would do great agaisnt Kessler if they were the same weight, but with the move-up in weight by Taylor also factored in, I just don't see him as able to defeat Kessler.

This thread has more than its fair share of the boxing ignorati, and the threadstarter probably heads the list.

The only serious threat to Kessler(other than Joe) at 168 or 175 is Dawson.

And He would be a serious threat to Calzaghe as well.

I'd rather see Pavlik fight Kessler, and knock the **** out of him. Then ask Calzaghe if he knows who he is after he KO'd Joe's best win on his resume.

Pavlik needs some confidence building after losing to Bernard, not a boxing lesson punctuated with a brutal KO.

BTW, Any idea what happened to Relentless ?

Haven't sen him post in a while.
