No he isn't, he's one of the most consistent fighters in the sport. He's only looked "overcautious" against precisiely two prior opponents, Roy and Taylor, who also happened to be the two most talented boxer-punchers he's ever fought in the span of 15-whatever years. And he was similarly overcautious in both fights with Taylor, which proves that it's not just a matter of consistency or deliberate choice on Hopkins' part.

Nice of you to undermine your whole point.

Lol, poor lamb, he's woken up and thinks Pavlik getting schooled was just a nasty dream!! :hi::hi:

Don't worry, keep telling yourself it didn't happen...

WTF!! The big thing for me is Hopkins ran from Calzaghe the whole fight and never jumped on him after the KD. He did the opposite against Pavlik, why? Joe uses angles and foot work arguably better than anyone and Joe's got better handspeed. BHop knew he could not sit in range, against Pavlik pretty much every right he threw landed clean. I only recall Joe getting hit clean a few times and he never looked as buzzed as Pavlik.

goes a long way toward giving credence to the belief that the only guy Hopkins ever really lost to was Jones. I thought Joe C lost his fight with BHop. It was close but? I still think Joe needs to fight the fights to prove he is a bonafide ATG and he hasnt and it seems will not. He gets no benefit from me for Hopkins doing the job on Kelly that Joe C should have attempted to do. I have to admit that BHop dominating Kelly benefits Calzaghe greatly. His supporters have all the Ammo they need to go on and on but guess what I still have no respect for Joe Calzghe or the way he has conducted his career.

Lets just deal with FACTS before you continue yaping like a silly little puppy puppy

    Hopkins desevedly beat Pavlik
    Calzaghe deservedly beat Hopkins

Hopkins is tough for anyone to beat, Pavlik couldnt find a way, Calzaghe did find a way, just like he did when he struggled early on against Kessler.

Hopkins is a great fighter and so is Calzaghe, both different but both know how to win fights.

Now you can get back to your blinkered yapping

It's pretty pathetic how predictable some "factions" are here. Calzaghe fans are so happy it's as if Calzaghe actually beat Pavlik himself. This place it too childish....

The insults sent towards Calzaghe were FAR too much for his fans to be quiet about what happened. Also both Calzaghe and his father were ripped to pieces when they picked Hopkins to beat Pavlik. What's happening now should be expected.
