Joe's nose was split from headbuts, and the KD was a flash...yes he got hit flush, but the 2 fighters feet were crossed and he obviously wasn't hurt. If Joe had been hurt, b-hop would have jumped on him!!

Admit it...joe is still the man!!:good

Nice, after reading your commentary I feel even more confident that Calzaghe is going to embarrass Jones

Bottom line - Calzaghe undoubtedly beat Hopkins in a close fight where nobody can really dispute the final scores. Kelly Pavlik has basically proven everything that I've somewhat suspected for some time, that's he's really not good of a fighter. His plodding come-forward straight line style and generally sub-standard defence would have lead to his annihilation at the hands of a style-master like Calzaghe.

Calzaghe = arguably the best fighter in the world

Exactly. Calzaghe's and Pavlik's respective performances against Hopkins show one indisputable truth: to beat a great like Hopkins, you have to be great yourself. What this fight DOES prove is that Calzaghe has a lot left in the tank, since there's no shame in struggling a bit with someone who is as elite as Hopkins still (miraculously) is.

Aside from just making a weak attempt at assumption - back that up. Otherwise sit your ass down. He CHOSE NOT TO. That's the only thing any human eye could see. Calzaghe was there to be hit. Hopkins went pensive - why, you don't know. The reality is Hopkins WON against Calzaghe anyway. What he did tonight was make it more than obvious because people are stupid and boxing is a show, an exhibition. He didn't make it more than obvious against Calzaghe but he WON ANYWAY. IDIOT.
