I dont like Catchweights, however Canelo didn't create this WBC mess at all.

Also if anyone deserves a pass on a cw fight its Saul who has proved he will fight anyone.

Canelo was unable to hurt Cotto.
I'd say for 154 division Canelo has 6.5 of 10 power. He can hurt you but not heavy handed ala Jacobs, GGG, Lemiuex.

El Pollo could not knock out Cotto, but Pac knocked him out, beat him nearly to death. If El Pollo Alvarez is such a powerful puncher, then why is he so extremely afraid of Golovkin?! Chicken Alvarez and woman dresser Oscar want to stay away from Golovkin, and the 160 lb. division. Alvarez is afraid to fight middle weights, he just fought a glass chinned 5,000 to 1 underdog who came up from the Jr. welter weight division, ate like a pig to gain weight so he could fight at 147, then to 155. Canelo has above average power at best. The only people he's stopped in the last couple of years are Angulo and Lopez who didn't have good chins in the first place. I don't count the Kirkland fight because Kirkland just got off his ass after a stint in jail.
