Canelo already took a big Loss by switching weights, so what's the point?

GGG not fighting Ward was a coward move. If I was Canelo I would make him wait even longer. Canelo has time on his side GGG don't.

Well he fought a ATG at the age of 23 to get that lost. If your going to loose to anybody it mine as well be to the best of the era. At 35 how many ATGs have GGG even fought?

:risas3: IMO... Canelo's biggest LOSS was SURRENDERING HIS BELT, after he & O$car...

    ran their MOUTHS before...

    DUCKING GGG !

:bash: That mistake will follow Canelo lifetime.

Look at BoxRec, it's still a Loss. So the rep is tarnished. And yes, like someone else just said, he also took a Loss when he surrendered his MW belt to GGG.

Ward turned him down. Something about his shoulder.

Most fighters are remembered for the battles they been in. Win or loose it's about who you fought and how well you did in the fight. Retiring with a 0 is a bonus, if your resume consist of quality comp. Having a lost don't mean sh!t. How many ATGs and Hall of famers have loss fights? Look it up. If GGG retire tomorrow what would his legacy look like? Compare his resume to Canelo and it's not hard to see why Canelo is the A side. We wouldn't be having this convo now, if GGG had fought Ward when he came back from his lay off. Had he fought Ward and fought a good fight win or loose no one wouldn't care because he stepped up, and that fight would have gave him more leverage now. It's his own fault though. At 35 yrs old, sure he has a great KO ratio, but he still hasn't been in a super fight or fought a ATG which is why he lacks negotiation leverage against someone like Canelo.
