    Are you talking about Sergio?
because he has moved up from 147 to 154 and only moved up to 160 to get a payday against Pavlik...and then made it known he was open to fighting at 154-160. At his age, he has been filled out for some time now. He is not that big.

Anybody that steps their feet and then swims in a division he fought in and can still fight in, are open for hunting season.

Pavlik and Chavez would probably fight at 168

So who is going to get stripped at 168 in order for Chavez to win a vacant title? I predict Ward.

How much did he weigh 30 days before the Williams fight?

Yeah it would be Ward since that's the WBC belt. Hell they were about to strip him for completely unrelated reasons earlier this year; Chavez moving up will give them even more incentive to do so.

I get the Dawson fight they are the two best at that weight. I wanted Dawson to fight Pascal and I give him no credit for calling out the smaller guy.

I could see a Pavlik fight, which I know both of them would take. At 168 somebody like Ward, Froch he would not touch. I am pretty sure Freddie knows Sergio would ko him at 160.

Why is your one single data point any more relevant than my more recent single data point?

Sorry but we see this in entirely different ways. Dawson is taking the lion's share of the risk in this fight, boiling down to Ward's weight, and will deserve more credit than Ward would in the event of a victory.

So Martinez weighing in at 177 in the aftermath of the biggest victory of his career is far more important and informative than the fact that he nevertheless made the 158 lbs. catch weight Williams demanded for the fight, has been well under 160 in all of his fights to date, and was 165 for the most recent fight night weight?
