So Chisora scored a TKO9 over Avila this past weekend.

Didn't look good.

Well overweight, none of the usual bob and weave movement and he looked like he just wanted to get rounds in. Poor performance against a poor opponent.

He had a W to his name which I thought was needed, but that kind of display won't do him any favours when it comes to fighting Price, Fury, Helenius's of this world.

 

dull fight..really dull..chisora gave two ****s about this fight..someone like he faced should have been taken out in the first 3 rounds..it was a much needed W on his win column but being disinterested and out of shape does not help him in any way

 

Price would KO Chis-snora in my view. His glass chin would not be under threat.

 

In the first rounds he was clearly just "sparring" he stopped throwing punches each time he got a combination going and didn't even try to throw full power. Later on when he tried he needed more time than he should have to finish him but that's because he ad a long layoff and was never a big puncher. He was in average shape he wasn't completely out of shape. This fight was just a tune up and to judge him because of that is dumb people here are so quick to change their stance on a fighter, Price was supposed to be the next Klitschko (even though I never thought that) and now he is a china chinned bum, Rigo was a china chinned bum and now he is an ATG.

 

Chisora didnt even try tbh, the guy was fighting like it was an exhibition wouldnt be suprised if he had money on the over
Someone said he's getting a big fight in the summer so he didnt risk getting a injury

Thing is he wasnt even trying, it wasnt like he was shot or something it was like he was fighting his younger brother at the beginning, he was tapping the with shots, then later he picked it up and got the stoppage
Against someone good he will be back to normal, it was a pointless fight though

 

Not really,the fight surved it's purpose.

On to bigger and better things for Del Boy.

 

The fight was so exciting, I went to take a poo during the 6th round, and completely forgot about the 'fight'.

 

vitalis fight with chisora is the reason i think its time to call it a day and retire.

wasnt a bad stoppage because the guy was gassed and Chisora did land a hard body shot every now and then, i think the guy was against the ropes then Chisora unleashed some body shots on him and then to the head then the ref stopped it

C,moon! The ref saved Chisora from looking too bad. He saw that Chisora didnt have the punch to put this guy down and stopped it to save Chisora from embarrasement. I really dont care about the stoppage. The big picture is more important and that is that CHISORA CANT PUNCH! Really, go look at his fights. HE cant punch. He may unload a 20-25 punch combo and opponent goes down because they are tired, not because they are hurt. Look the interview after the fight were Chisora himself admits that he didnt stop the guy and that the ref stopped Avila. Chisora looks awkward in that interview and I bet that he himself is starting to understand the lack of punching power and what it means for his aspirations. He looked worried in that interview and I dont blame him. This kind of performace against a bum of Avilas caliber is performance that should make him think about retirement. HE CANT PUNCH!

yeah, i watched it. wish i hadn't though. he looked out of shape, uninterested, and completely unmotivated. he was poor.

maybe he needs the big fights to get up for. but this is a rebuilding process he's going through so needs to put in the work otherwise he's going to come undone.
