So CONFUSED about the Beterbiev HYPE...

Good fight but I think canelo being more durable would wear him down and stop him.

 

We all know why he gets so much hype....
You know what I'm talking about too

 

The most obvious reason is that he's a monster puncher.

 

Beterbiev is very very good however I still believe Gvozdzyk would beat him in a rematch

 

I wasnt big on him until i watched him destroy the nail. Sadly he is starting to get old

 

A few things to consider.
> When you are an intimidating KO artist, making fights becomes difficult, boxers aren't as brave as they make out and duck all the time, especially when they have something to lose. Even if the boxer doesn't duck, the managers often will. One of the best examples of this process was when Darren Barker mentioned he was once in the running for a Golovkin fight but his handlers wouldn't let him near GGG (who wasn't a big money fight/draw at the time but was known to be deadly). Extrapolate that across the entire sport. So many fall for the propaganda boxers spin that they are warriors who fear no man, but it's total BS. They never like taking fights they don't believe they can win unless they are journeymen and base their career on losing and taking semi-dives.

little bimbo, canelo gets destroyed , he can juice himself to gills , have his judges and entire east LA in the arena and he would still get knocked out. But he will not fight beterbiev until he is 38-40, because he knows what would happen.
Plant and benavidez gets stopped.

AB is a great litmus test for telling if people know boxing or not.

 

Uninterested in Beterbiev. Maybe if he faces someone decent. Otherwise he's going out with a whimper. No one will remember him.

 

The more I watch this fight the more I think Beterbiev was carrying Dienes.

The biggest giveaway? The punch variety was totally different against Dienses than it was against Gvozdyk

There was no violence

He started an attack and then backed off.....it was cruel like how a cat plays with a mouse.

Even Dienses counter lefts became predictable because Beterbiev just tucked in and always managed to take 1 or 2 steps backwards.

Under rated ring IQ.

He'll fight different against Smith Jr. Violence will be restored.

 

Who is going to knock him TFO? The biggest bangers at LHW couldnt

A career LHW Dienes threw full bodied left hooks and counters at him all night and couldnt make an impression

So who is left? Canelo?
