Gvoz wasn't even that good. He struggled with a way past it, 40 something Stevenson. Gvoz had some flash but lacked world class durability. Stevenson from 2014 would've taken him out. That's Beterbiev's only decent win. With the pace of his career and age, he'll probably end up being upset by someone who isn't all that great, or, if he's lucky, he'll get the Canelo fight next year and lose, but take home a nice check.
Well, I am a pretty good judge of talent, and to me, they both are immense talents. So... I strongly disagree.
So now winning between 7 to 8 rounds off of, being deprived of an early knockdown and almost ending his opponent's life is considered struggling? You're a genuinely terrible poster, almost as bad as the TS.
Looks that he was 37. He so heavily struggled with him and therefore had put on him beating with rare outcome in professional boxing. Stevenson was in hospital more than 3 months after Gvozdyk " struggled " with him. Oh, western pro boxing you love a lot and think that this is cool stuff. Buterelo vs old uncles in his backyard is all you need to praise him. Westerner's nice talks about paychecks like westerner might buy everything. People with no interest in pro boxing does not knows that buterelo even exists in this world.
Yet he was coming off of almost stopping Badou Jack. Yeah, he was old, but many posters on here still picked Stevenson to beat Gvozdyk, and power is the last thing to go. Regardless, Gvozdyk was coming off of beating Chilemba, still the only man to stop him, and violently stopping Yunieski Gonzalez. It's a great win, and Gvozdyk is top notch. That's obvious to pretty much anyone with eyes.
Nah, Badou isn't a joke. He's a pain in the ass, that gives most opponents a rough night, while not quite doing enough to win.... or lose.
So that single win makes him better than Canelo?? let me guess he knocks him out with a jab like Kova???
