    Cotto and Canelo are afraid of fighting Gennady Golovkin because both of them know that they can't win and they will get hurt.

    Cotto is out of the hook if he wins no more pressure from WBC to face GGG a great place for him no counting the money saved.

    It might not be the smartest move in a lot of ways but the reality is he doesn't need to pay a sanctioning body any fees to be a world champion, he just needs to be the man who beat the world champion.

    I'm not saying he should duck Golovkin either, I want the two to fight. I just can't believe people are getting so up roared about the situation. Nothing has changed apart from GGG getting another paper belt.

    Cotto makes a smart business decision and the cyber boxing community goes nuts. He saved at least $300,0000, maybe a million $ by not paying what the Mafia would call "protection money". He STILL makes millions fighting on Saturday night. If he beats Canelo he can make a legitimate claim to be the "peoples Champ" at MW.

    Most boxing fans hate the "alphabet" sanctioning bodies, but when a boxer declines to pay the blood money demanded by one of the bodies he gets castigated.

    Boxing fans are the dumbest fans in any sport in the world.

    boxing fans can be dumb ...but ggg fans are a whole new level of it

    some of these guys want to believe this is a move by the wbc to stick up for ggg out of principle.....
