K2 has it in writing from WBC that winner of Cotto/TBA must fight the winner of GGG/Monroe or be stripped.

Even if Cotto wins this fight vs TBA I think he will go after Canelo @ 154 and vacate his lineal mw title or maybe the WBC will make an exception and let Cotto to fight Canelo @ 155 c/w for the lineal mw title .:think

What they will try to do, is pay K2 a step-aside. What K2 will ask for is a preliminary bout agreement to fight winner (like what Kovalev and Hopkins had , even though Kovalev had a fight to win first)

If K2 gets both Cotto and Canelo to sign a prelim, then they will probably step aside. Or maybe even if just one from Canelo, and just hope he wins.

Nah, the fact is that the winner of Golovkin vs Monroe (wonder who that will be ;)) is the interim WBC champion besides the other belts, and the order to face him stands.
I was worrying about such bull myself, but since we have the younger Sulaiman at the helm, Floydweather is the only one who still gets a pass.

Sulaiman himself was in Monaco to hang the WBC belt on GGG-Murray winner.

K2 will step aside for right deal, because HBO will want them to - but I don't see WBC protecting Cotto.
