I think people underrate Foreman. Foreman's punching variety was incredible. In his prime, he had a hard jab, a clubbing right hand, devestating right uppercut, big left hook, even a big left uppercut (one of the last knockdowns vs Frazier came from a left uppercut).

Take a look at the above video around 4:53. That is underrated hand speed. He certainly isn't slow. Ali also said Foreman was quick on his feet, hence he realized he couldn't dance away from him.

Foreman's punch variety will keep Hrgovic guessing. So in spite of not being as fast as Itauma, Foreman will land and hard. And IMO Foreman has a higher level of power than Moses.

 

I think he hits harder than the kid for sure. Just not as quickly. And I thought Hrgo was awful in the Zhang fight, thought he lost..for me he looked better than he ever has on Saturday. Everything came together.

 

I would favor Filip because he would not have the speed deficit to overcome against George, and he would be significantly larger. Easy pick.

 

Zhang throws straight shots and knows how to disguise them. He connected on pretty much everyone he fought.

 

And Foreman connected on everyone he fought too - even Young. Ali was the only one who managed to largely avoid head shots by keeping a high guard and taking a tremendous body beating, and throwing lightning fast counters in between- things that Hrgo can't do.

 

Know i am getting crap for this, Was it just me, but his style looked plodding and slow and terrible, reaching with his punches, if not for a iron chin he would have got beaten by a smart boxer, and also I do not think Itumama hits as hard as Foreman or Lennox, boxers these days are so overhyped.

Other than a shot Cooney, he never stopped anyone who was 6’4+ and 230+. I could probably drop those metrics some too.

This isn't true.

Fury isn't more durable than Holmes, Joshua isn't more durable than Ali or Foreman or Holyfield, Dubois isn't more durable than Tyson etc. etc.

Foreman has more than enough power to stop Hrgovic. More than enough.

And you’re cherry picking examples don’t prove your point. A lot of the most durable heavyweights ever have been big guys (McCall, Ike, Vitali, Andy).

Furys reputation is largely based on the Wilder trilogy. He can't be miles ahead when his legacy is so heavily based on one opponent. If Wilder is a hype job than Furys legacy falls apart

And Parker has so many losses that you have to explain away.
