The fights I watched him in he didn't do much boxing. Now if he boxed earlier in his career then he needs to back to that.
Arce might fancy his chances now. Vic might also see it as a quick way to jump straight back into the action. If they fight now, it would have lost the appeal it could have had. Similar to when Judah lost to Baldomir, but still fought Mayweather next.
Go back to boxing? Why? He's a little guy. He can't be effective as a boxer - he is very effective when he is the aggressor/roughing his opponents up. That's like saying Ricky Hatton should box more.
kinda not that relivant to the topic but while were talkin bout darchinyan...... he just got ko'd in round 5 by Nonito Daonaire and lost his titles. massive upset!
You'd have to be a total f'n idiot to not want to see Arce vs Darchinyan just because they lost their last fights. Who cares about belts..put em in like 2 roosters
Arce is a good fighter but linear champion? The guy was never even the proper champion at 112, he held an interim belt. 115 he lost his chance to win a title. Good fighter but not great.
After they both get back on the winning track, I would still absolutely love to see this fight. :good
This is really funny. A while back ago, right after Arce was schooled by Mijares, Darchinyan fans wondered why the Arce-Darchinyan fight should still push through, thinking that Arce was just a bum who was exposed and who will not stand a chance with Vic. But now, well. Where are they?:yep Can't wait to hear their sides.
Arce-Darchi is still an interesting pick 'em fight, though i'd slightly favor the mf'n loudmouth Darchi. Winner takes the winner of the NDonaire-Mijares tiff. Mijares v. Donaire in the main event. Arce v. Darchi on the undercard. Yummee...
