Here's the Ring's top 7. How do you think he fares against:

    Pac

    Floyd

    Ortreez

    Berto

    Senchenko

    Brook

    Jones

He's a lot more battle-tested than a lot of the names on that list. He's looked shakey in some of his fights, but against good opposition. I could see him being competitive with anyone apart from the top 2 - but he needs to keep developing.

He quits in all of those fights due to having an eyelash in his ear.

hes right in the mix with those guys, look for him to challenge the winner of the berto vs ortiz 2 fight. who ever wins them vs devon would be a great fight. i like devon vs ortiz the most.picking ortiz if they fight.

Devon will not fair well. He got chased out of 140 and eventually the 140s will be moving up for big fights.

    Brooks Vs Devon

    Should be made.

He could beat berto and ortiz. And I thinkh e would easily conquer Senchenko. Even brook and jones but that just depends on how ready he comes in.

He can hang with all of them. Yeah, the kid's had some sketchy fights, but he has the speed and skill to box with any of them. As of today, he can beat anyone on that list sans Mayweather. The talent is there.

He'll fight the loser of Berto-Ortiz II. And probably lose.

A thread with some common sense, thankyou!

Alexander beats 140lb Maidana at WW and on this Forum is ready to challenge Floyd and Pacquaio...

The reality is that he loses to all of those guys except Berto IMO.

The reason I pick him against Berto is because the man fights flat footed and would not keep pace with Alexander who would step to his right all night, circling while jabbing and win a comftroble UD.

Everyone else either stops him, or beats him down on score cards.

Still, Big Bertha err Berto would apply intelligent pressure throwing flurries at some point. Devon ain't likin it one bit. :bart

Maidana just couldn't pull the trigger.

    I agree with this.. :rasta

This shows that he is not yet in par with the elite names(Mayweather and Pacquioa), or should I say good names in the welterweight division.. He looks good in his welterweight debut but he's not just there yet.. Maybe 2 or 3 fights then we'll see.. :hey
