So did anyone feel sorry for RJJ when Calzaghe clowned him?

Calzaghe would have beat prime RJJ, it would be a good fight

37 year old calzaghe fighting blown up at LHW (hes a super middle) after 4 hand surgeries is far from "prime", but you little rjj nutt suckers will never admit JC wasn't prime either

Rj one of the best ever, but Jc was still at the top of his game while Jones was finished. Beating fighters just as finished as he was like Tito and Lacey didn't prove anything. Calzaghe very lucky Jones was done the result would of been the opposite. Both were known showboats the clownin was expected.

Calzaghe was NOT at the top of his game, he was shot to hell by the time RJJ gave him the chance.

Where was RJJ when calzaghe was BEGGING for a fight in the late 90s? Where was RJJ when nigel benn called him out on live TV? Where was RJJ when eubank asked for a fight with toney or RJJ?

RJJ ignored all the good SMW's and chose to fight guys like vinny pazienza instead. FACT

People need to take more note of Forza's incredible posts on these subjects. Here's someone who was also following boxing back in the 90's when Roy was in his prime, robbing the fans of big fights, he knows how people felt at the time. Keep up the good work Forza :good

I did feel a tad bit sorry for him. . . But then again, I kind of felt like it was just desserts for Roy always clowning inferior fighters - making them look foolish in front of their wives, kids, etc. . .

It was all the more fitting that a "white boy" was the one who did the clowning as well. . .

LOL - Joey Zagz snatched some street cred from Hopkins, and Jones.

I agree. . . Forza's been schooling boxing scene fools on the subject as well. . .

Now he has brought his wisdom on the subject to ESB. . .

People don't realize that Zagz wasn't in his prime either - his hands were like peanut butter brittle by the time he fought Hopkins, and Jones.

Calzaghe actually has 3 sons, 2 with his ex wife emma and 1 black baby named bernard hopkins. The black one is known to cry a lot if he doesn't get his way.

Exactly, he was 37 years old and clearly past his prime, yet these fans expected Joe to have kept going and fought the likes of Dawson, Pavlik, a rematch with Hopkins and so on. These same people say Roy should have retired after he beat Ruiz...

I like Joe too but I can't see him beating a prime Roy

Him being 37, Still don't make up for him getting put on his ass round 1 by a unmotivated clearly shot soft Roy, that alone should let people know what would have happened in their primes.
