Thought Taylor won 7-5 not quite a robbery and Taylors got lucky decisions against Winky, BHOPs and Spinks

i have got to say that you calzaghe fans do hate kelly pavlik, think its because you don't want to see calzaghe in the same ring as him.

but i did score it for taylor by 1 round, i wouldn't call it a robbery but a close fight.

Because a Calzaghe fan asks a question he is a Pavlik hater?

I was at this fight and was certain that it was even after 10 rounds. I was also certain that Taylor was gassed by the 11th and that Pavlik convincingly won the last two rounds and thus, the fight.

Not IMO. I would think after you get KO'd, lose your belt, you Absolutely must come back and want the Championship. He didn't come back and take it.

JT won, pavlik was more active... thats what judges go for now.

I can trow 5 and land 4, but if you trow 10 and land 2... you win the round.

No robbery ... even though it could be argued the fight went either way ... JT showed some class in defeat and i'm anxious to see him climb back into the ring.

I scored the fight for Taylor but not by much. Was definitely one that could have gone either way.

anyone who uses the wordy robbery for this fight is a ****** straight up

i thought pavlik claimed AT LEAST 6 rounds. on my card taylor would have needed a KO to win. i think i ended up giving pavlik 7 rounds but he def won at least 6 minimum

    First and foremost..No
I had it a draw and what stands out most to me about that fight is the last few rounds where Pavlik did all the work.

But Ive got a question, Whats the empirical measure for a "robbery" or does it just come down to the individual's emotional investment in a fighter or fight and how that effects their perception of the result?
If you truly believe you have won a fight does it matter if its by an inch or a mile, you have had a win taken away that you think is rightfullly yours..hence you would feel robbed.

No he clearly outworked Jermain and pulled through the last two rounds which happened to give him the decision

I thought Taylor was outboxing Pavlik, but the last two or three rounds tipped it to Pavlik, who didn't tire. I thought Taylor was beating Pavlik in the first fight as well until the KO.
