the horse meat story was only to back up his massive gain from 205 to 255. obviously, very few believed him. all i remember of him was getting kod by liddell before he hit the juice.
It was corroborated, people witnessed him consuming it. That doesn't mean he wasn't juicing, but the horse meat wasn't just a fabricated cover story. It actually isn't terribly uncommon in some parts of the globe. It's really only the Brits who get their panties in a twist over it - and of course Americans usually are squeamish.
