I would guess any other promotor would of got him a World title fight by now. Sadly under Mick he isnt getting a look in because Mick is all over Froch. I beleive any other promotor would do a better job than Mick. Is he still training in Hattons gym? I think that a link up with Hatton would be great for both Hatton and Murray. Ricky would have a real world title level fighter and wouldnt need to do a lot to get him a world title fight with his conections. I would guess they would be queing up to sign Murray its up to him to pick the right deal. Warren , Matchroom , Maloney or Hatton I would even say if Hayemaker were looking to build up there fighters again then they would do a better job with him than Mick the worst promotor ever.

 

I think every1 is surprised that Murray hasnt fought in better company yet, moving to Hatton sounds like it would be a good idea if did happen, however, Hatton hasnt had many TV dates recently, it seems to be all about Warren at the moment. Anybody know why ITV4 stopped showing Micks Saturday promotions? I read on another thread that they were getting decent viewing figures.

 

just cost cutting. and jsut cos something does big viewers doesnt mean it sells allot of ad space.

also he put that bird from big brother on.

Don't think Hatton would be a good idea for Murray.

 

It was stupid having that Big Brother bird on there but the rest of the card weren't too bad.

 

John Murray might win a WBU title at lightweight, Not a chance in hell would he win a WBA, WBC, WBO or IBF title.

But its not a problem, Murray can always defend his WBU against tomato cans to a packed out audience at that MEN ala Ricky Hatton and still make alot of money.

That aside, There was some talk of Warren taking him, Dont know what happened there.

Hey take Murrays c0ck out of your mouth for a second and listen to what your saying, Basically your saying that I should be sympathetic to Murray because Murray "had the misfortune of being promoted by 1 of the worst promoters in the buisness", So basically your saying John Murray should just get a hand out and not have to work for a world title.

I hate to say but there seems to be a sense of entitlement amongst white English men who seem to think sucessful Asians owe them something because they are living in "thier" country. I find that just laughable.

No I wont give John Murray a handout, Murray wants a world title he will need to earn it and fight for it. Murray and Gallagher are like Laurel and Hardy always blaming Khan for thier owes insteading of trying to lift themselves out of the hole they have dug themselves in.

Murray should have left Fat Mick way before- he only has himself to blame.
