He only retired him once though, Rahman has retired him at least 3 times to my knowledge. Now we're just waiting for Peter to retire him.

the scorecards were so lopsided all Klitschko had to do was stand there the rest of the fight Byrd had to have a KO to win and we all know that was not going to happen to Vitali.

You guys are forgetting the time McCline retired him...

So what have we got Danny Williams 1...Rahman 4....McCLine 1...that's six...Peter should be ...SEVEN

I wouldn't call Lennox the superior fighter in that fight.

He took everything his opponent threw at him, then came back to damage his opponent to the extent that the fight was stopped. What more do you want?

Oh, I remember.... you don't actually win unless stop your opponent AND you win on the cards. My bad.

You talk as if Lennox knew he was going to cut Vitali. As if he had it planned.

    For ****s sake

What, just like Rahman "planned" to knock Lennox the **** out with that miracle punch at that exact moment? Does any fighter ever "plan" to knock a guy out exactly as they hit them?

It's a boxing match. If you get punched in the face and can't continue as a result of the damage, boo-****ing-hoo, you just got beaten by the better man on the night

That's not true at all. The better fighter can lose.

Does it matter? He opened up a cut and made it worse with constant punishment, fight got stopped. Just as legitimate as putting VITLAY down for the 10 count, which is exactly what he would have done had it gone on. Too much is made of the scorecards in that fight.

I'm sure Bruno was up on the cards when he fought Lewis too, doesn't mean he was going to win had it gone on :huh

Well we all knew he would stop him...if the fight would have continued, VITKLIT would have been KTFO because LEWIS had already began to tag that eye at will, and he would have walked around with a patch over that eye for the rest of his life...it's good for him that it was stopped. Lewis was going to bail either way, at least VITKLIT got to keep his eye.

I never said that. You're paranoid.

He threw punches expecting to do damage with them. The cut just ended things sooner than planned.

Yep. How far should we take this new rule I wonder? Temple shots obviously have to be discounted and only chin shots that the fighter can prove he planned to land actually prove he is the victor.

That means Tyson V Berbick is now a NC, and so is Jones V Johnson.

 Now the fight was becoming one sided? Vitali was also tagging Lennox at will slowing him down. Im not saying it shouldn't of been stopped but Vitali was winning and was ready to fight. Seems like you discredit him for quiting during a rotator cuff injury but don't give him any credit for wanting to risk eye damage for the rest of his life.
