How could he manage to look so happy, with the crowd as one, chanting VITLAYS name :huh

No, no he can't. Not when it involves getting half is faced ripped off and becoming The Terminator, which actually gets worse as he takes more shots

It's not our fault his skin can't stand up to the punishment, that is a physical attribute that let him down.

Yes, yes, the better fighter can lose.

You really going to try and tell me Joey Maxim was the better fighter that day against Sugar Ray Robinson?

Lewis won the 6th round on all 3 judges cards and had VITLAY hanging on for dear life at the end of the round. The tide had turned and VITLAY knew it.

One thing that's never raised in this is that the doctor told VITLAYS corner that he was going to get the fight stopped and not a whimper. As soon as it was officially over VITLAY went into 'bravery' mode and acted like he wanted to carry on - even hitting Lewis several times while he was being interviewed, demanding a rematch. He made himself look a real ***** after that fight, and not for the first time either.

...not at all. There is no doubt he is the KLIT with the bigger pair. However Lewis was already landing at will. All VITKLIT had to do for that fight not to get stopped, was defend his eye well...yet he could not. Lennox was nailing him with superb accuracy. Vitali's nice start was ruined, and he couldn't get it back together. Had it continued he would have been looking up at lights...with ONE eye.

Did you mean to say "he's never been down"?

The better fighter can lose, but Vitali wasn't the better fighter. He was edging on the cards, big woop, he also got his face rearranged and worsened by consistent punishment

Either Lennox whooped his ass real bad landing the real damaging blows and the Dr wasn't doing as great as you make out, or he's got paper skin thats just as much an attribute as a god given talent like speed.

Lewis was the very best fighter that VITLAY ever fought, you can agree on that, right? This was also the worst version of Lewis to ever set foot in the ring for a title fight, that much is also fact.

Just because VITLAY has never been down for a 10 count doesn't mean it can't happen. He was hanging on for dear life at the end of the 6th round and wouldn't have been let off the hook.

Only a fool or a cheat would get himself thrown out of the olympics because of steroid use.

But again you basically bash him for wanting to continue with the cut but discredit him for quiting with a rotator cuff injury.

    Amusing.

Hide was a great fighter. 2 time WBO champion of the world, which apparently meets all the requirements to be a great heavyweight these days.

As I said, he only 'wanted to continue' with that cut AFTER the fight was stopped. Like a kid taking a beating in the playground and giving up, then suddenly starts to throw punches again when the teacher arrives to break it up :D
