Still, they learnt their lesson with the younger brother, he's not been caught. Yet :yep

I never bashed him for any of that, I don't get involved in any of that quitting garbage because none of us keyboard messiahs have any idea of what a guy is going through in the ring.

Vitali wasn't the better fighter though, unfortunately. Whilst outpointing him he didn't make enough of an impression on a fat old Lewis when he had the perfect chance, took the most damaging shots, got his face mangled and was only saved from looking like Frankenstein and scaring his children. Winning the odd round or two more doesn't really outweigh that, this is heavyweight boxing.

He landed his very best shots on Lewis too, and no effect. Lewis landed good shots but the only great shot he landed was the uppercut and we all saw what an effect that had. There was no way VITLAY was going to win that fight whichever way you look at it.

I would say he rocked Lewis quite good in the 2nd round.

Not really, but it's a matter of opinion. Contrary to popular opinion it actually took a monster shot to rock Lewis, he had a good chin.

    Bu, bu, but....Vitali didn't know!

    Just like Barry Bonds.

And Shane Mosley. He flew across the state to get some vitamins and supplements.

The only times Byrd performed like a true champion was against these KLIT's...

    Larry Merchant on VITKLIT:

"He does not have the mentality of a champion...

...I've never seen anything like that Jim..."

    Thanks Larry.

Vitali Klitschko is a professional fighter. He was a kickboxer prior to that and he grew up in a military family. Toughness is not the question. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor and I'm willing to give Vitali the benefit of the doubt here because I don't know what kind of pain he was feeling but if he couldn't go a few more rounds against the light hitting Byrd I'm willing to bet it was more than any of us average joes could handle.

If any of these keyboard toughguys would just listen to Vitali's
explanation they would understand why he couldn't continue.
The pain was so severe he had trouble seeing; literally his vision
was impaired due to the intense pain from the rotator cuff injury.
That's where the expression "blinding pain" comes from. Are all
you keyboard monkeys indoor, air-conditioned, fat-bellied jerks?
I bet the most physical thing most of you do in a day is go to
the bathroom. Hell, I busted my leg in a slalom course years ago
and all I could see for the next half-hour or so was flashing white
lights. Mind you it was a compound fracture. In any event all this
sudden hate for big brother is the fact that all you Klit-haters know
he's going to whip Peter's fat, inarticulate African backside. That's
really what this is all about and it's really pathetic.

Have you even seen the fight. He is in apparent discomfort. But pain to the point of being blinded??? LAUGHABLE! He was throwing punches with that arm until the end of the last round.

But none of us "average Joes" call ourselves professional fighters and accept people's money in exchange for proving that.

If he refunded everybody's cash for quitting and just admitted that he was not cut out for the pain associated with prizefighting, I would have no problem with him. :yep
