Or any other titlist for that matter? In the world of belts, is there a clear-cut way to say how many title defenses THE champion has (e.g. I am the WBC champion, but there are 3 other titlists, if I go on w/ my career and retire and defeat all my other mandatory and voluntary defenses will I have claim to those title defenses as champ). You know what I'm saying? What do we do in the future? It's a lot easier to get a belt since there are 4 of them now. I believe someone is going to break Joe Louis's record because the belts have diluted THE champion.
