I think it will be a tough, rough, hard fought fight but one where cottos defence and skills make all the differance, and he wins a UD.

But does anyone not think that... and actually think that Margarito WILL WIN.

On the ESB championship thread.... cotto is leading 17-0.... i figured SOMEONE would pick margarito to win.

so just thought id pose the question to a wider audience :huh

I think Cotto is too quick and sound fundamentally for Margarito.

    Put me down.
I like both fighter's, no doubt.
But this will go down to the Punishment factor.
Most of the people who favor Cotto imagine him pitching this no-hit shutout..lol
Not gonna happen, he will have to take shot's to land his.
(Like he always does he is not the hardest to hit either..)

    Margarito by T.K.O. Late.

I got Margarito by KO in the late rounds after Cotto schools him in the early rounds.

There are a lot of Margarito fans who think he will win, and for good reason. Margo brings a lot of things to the table than can fluster Miguel Cotto. I for one see this as about a 55 - 45 fight in favor of Cotto, so of course I think his greater kills will overcome, but I wouldn't be too surprised if things turned out to be the other way around. This fight is going war no matter what the Margo detractors try and lead you to believe, and in a fight like that you can never really be too sure of the outcome.

Cotto will probably look like he's putting on a boxing clinic in the first 4-5 rounds but then Margarito's pressure will slow him down and might put him in danger around the 10th or 11th round..

You cant be sure of anything in this one....I say decision favors Cotto and the KO favors Margo.

Does Margarito have fans? I've counted two of them here. Literally two Margarito fans. The rest are people who see his strengths and Cotto's weaknesses. Anyway, I got Margarito, but only for this fight.
