So, does Paul Williams still beat Pavlik?

It will be a good fight between the ghost & the punisher but if it gose the distance PW will win hands down.

 

I understand that, but they had the fight signed and ready to go and Pavlik pulled out of it with his hand injury. Arum and Pavlik calling out Williams now is a little ridiculous after they pulled out of the fight. regardless if it was a real excuse or not, he really cannot expect Williams to fight him or ever have a claim that Williams is ducking him. He had the fight signed. We all were ready to watch it. Pavlik should move on and fight someone else.

 

Williams takes way too many shots, cuts easily, and hits like a welterweight. If Martinez can floor the Punhisher wtf do you think Kelly will do?

 

After seeing the Martinez fight, I honestly think Pavlik would KO Williams late in the fight...if Martinez could buzz Williams i think Pavlik would hurt him if he caught him flush, which he would

Your right. And we all know what happens when Kelly fights a straight forward fighter. Ask Jermaine, Lockett, Miranda, and Vertuche. The only way I see PW beating the ghost is on decision. Does anyone really think PW can legitimately hurt Kelly?

My take is Arum is genuinely pissed at Peterson's mouth trying to make it sound like Kelly was afraid of Williams when he had some serious health problems. I think Arum would rather Kelly trash Peterson but will settle for second best and have Kelly crush Peterson's dreams.

 

I would not put PW in the ring with KP, there is NOTHING absolutely NOTHING PW does that would make KP even flinch. KP has too good of a chin, too good of a jab, VERY impressed with his body attack tonight, him using the uppercut so frequently and accurately was also very impressive, too much power, to much strength. Paul Williams will get ruined, if I was his promoter I would stay away from Kelly. Fight will not happen, Paul Williams should just stay at 154, mark my words, and if the fightt does happen, I will be the first to eat crow.
