So does this mean 2026, or early 2027, is really Usyk's last year?

    Usyk says his brother AJ is going to be undisputed in 2027. I hear the same thing as Kurt...he's ready to go. He has come to term with the fact that he is at the end.

    Not the point of the thread, though. I like AJ and think his chances of being undisputed are slim and none, in what is actually now a very deep division. But this is really about how Usyk seems to have really accepted the end of things.

    I think he's being smart. Hopefully he quits while he's ahead and walks out sooner rather than later unlike idiots like Floyd Mayweather.

    In an ideal world I’d like to see him fight a young up and comer before he retires and beat them, but I doubt we’ll see that for a few reasons, nothing really left for him outside of that
