So Enzo was talking shite about 175 being his natural weight etc?

I doubt it, I don't think Cruiserweight has much money in it anywhere, nevermind domestically where its pretty much a graveyard. McPhilbin/Williams fighting for the title says it all. It'll be chump change for Enzo.

Financially it makes more sense to fight at LHW especially with that Cleverly fight on the horizon, and furthermore I thought the whole point of the LHW route was to take a different tact and try to reach a higher level again.

He's never won a British Title, this was an easy fight to make, there is nothing to say he has to defend it.

His weight tomorrow will give us more idea.

  3. An Opportunity has come at Cruiserweight to win a British Title.. Something he hasn't had before.. Lets face it.. it's a fairy easy nights work for him and it gets him a title and his name back up there.. I reckon he will come in a few pounds above the LH limit.. Leaving his options open to drop back down if he needs to.

Yeah, I see it the same. It's essentially a treading water type fight with a British title thrown in, given the opponent. It's more of a case of grabbing a belt than anything else.

Maybe he should of been fighting a light heavyweight if we're going to be picky but I can't see that it makes much difference given the names that would have been available to him. Ajisafe etc.

Well I was just thinking from the perspective of British level. He could make a few defences and keep the title for a while. That money adds up. He's already been found out at a higher level at cruiser though and lebedev is still in the division.

If he wants the clev fight, it is there for him provided clev beats the never-been-stopped-guy

That's all well and good if his weight is still near the 175 pound limit. If he is above 190 here, as I suspect he will be, it doesn't bode well.

The word was it'd be Ajisafe in March.

So this isn't all that bad really provided he uses it as an opportunity to get near to 175 again.

If he has realised, after trying, he can't do 175, I hope he knocks it on the head after winning this.

Enzo will weigh in around 185lbs and batter McPhilbin.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Enzo said he is staying at LH and is after the Clev fight, but everyone was tied up at LH So he took this as a keep busy fight as he doesn't have much left (if any)

If he wins I doubt he'll try to win it outright, some dangermen in division like Askin.

Cant see Clev taking the enzo fight, He keeps going on about this "summer" superfight which i assume will be against soemone like pascal or cloud. Enzo is deffo best off at cruiserweight / commentating.

If he ended up with a fight against Clev all Wales World title fight, he could probably retire quite happy after that one and a few defences!!! :nut

Does the OP actually understand that you don't have to weigh 200 to be a crusierweight? Enzo could starve down to 160 and still beat McPhilbin
