It's good if he's in better shape of course, but it wasn't his fitness that let him down against Haye - it was his technique. He can stride in there looking like Michaelangelo's David, if he doesn't get that head moving more he's going to get whacked again by someone.
I know a guy who knows enzo. he bumped into him in Tesco in swansea he said Enzo learnt his lesson in the Haye fight...................and will keep his hands up from now on
Cast iron source obviously. But, if true, I wouldn't see such statements as a good sign. Enzo actually did have his hands up plenty high enough for most of the Haye fight. He also looked very nervous. If he's scared to move his hands away from his chin, how is he going to throw any punches. The Banks fight is going to be very instructive. But it's a very dangerous fight if he is still mentally affected by the whole Haye experience (and I don't just mean being ko'd because Maccarinelli was already clearly mentally fragile before he got to the ring).
the whole Haye fight was a nightmare night for Enzo it will be very hard to fight on unaffected as if that never happened at the end of the day he is a champion......... a winner..........he dosent do losing
I'm sorry, yes I am a noob, but 'I know a guy who bumped into Enzo in Tesco' is ****ing lame. Saying he's going to put his hands up from now on is hardly ****ing scoop of the century. and what's with the shock at someone calling Enzo ugly? He looks like a cross between Tim Flowers and an Emu. I am curious to see if these 'amazing new physique' boasts are all spin though.
He must have been training hard, but 8 months is a long time without a fight. Be intresting to see how and if he recovers from the Haye mauling.
I want to see pictures. Enzo has always been a hard trainer and for someone his size he has a good level of fitness. If that can improve, I would be impressed. I hope he beats Banks. I think he can. From what I've seen of Banks he looks unimpressive.
I've heard some of this kind of stuff form Enzo in the past. He was on a run of consecutive stoppages then was in the papers talking of his new weights routine and how he was punching harder - went 12 rounds in his next fight.
Boxers focus on the positives in the build up to a fight. You never hear them saying im not as strong as i was for my last fight. Sometimes its true sometimes its BS we will find out on saturday.
That was just a bad night............a blip...........**** day at the office.............got out of the wrong side of bed and under performed At the end of the day he is a winner.............not a loser
