So, ESB, is Cotto over Margarito a foregone conclusion?

    I'm not completely sure. Cotto is probably my #2 fave fighter, but Margo is a tough sum a gun.

    Who out there believes Margo will beat Cotto, and how?

    I think Cotto will have to box a good bit, and will win a hard fought UD. But I can't easily count Margo out.

    Seems most posts I see are in favor of Cotto, just wanted to round up some opinions.

    I agree, but looking around, I'd guess that 90% of ESB seems sure of a Cotto win.

    :good Honestly, I think I might be too if not for my Cotto bias-ness.:D

    It's gonna be one tough ****in' assignment to get inside Margo's tall ass, and even if he does he's got the Margo special uppercuts waiting for him.

    im a big cotto fan more so than margo but i expect a war&margo seems unbreakable lately although cotto is the best opponent hes fought

    No way is this fight a foregone conclusion. If you think so than you highly underestimate Margarito. If I were one of these Cotto nuthugging fans I'd be incredibly nervous for him coming into this fight.

    We are in the same boat then. What's the general concesus, that Cotto's gonna get in close and bang Margo with body shots? I just don't know, Margo is down played big time by PBF fans and the fact he got narrowly out worked by the also very tall Paul Williams.

    i'm a big cotto fan too, but i'm a little nervous just because margarito is such a tough *******.

    but the speed difference and skill difference will mean a lot.

    No he's gonna stay outside with his jab, give margo movement and unleash hell with his combinations. Cotto is SO MUCH faster then Margo, much better technically also. The whole fight is gonna be defined by Cotto's jab. The combinations up and down will follow that and Margo will take a serious beating and not see the final bell thats for damn sure.
