    Lets go over the steps:

Vic clocks Floyd in the mouth with his head INTENTIONALLY.

Cortez breaks them apart and deducts a point from Vic.

Vic tries to hug, kiss, and apologize to Floyd.:barf

Cortz gives the signal to continue and says "time in" and tells timekeeper to start the clock.

Floyd comes at Vic with HANDS UP.

Vic comes at Floyd with HANDS DOWN to embrace again.:barf

They finish, Ortiz stares at Floyd while he clocks him with a straight left, Ortiz looks at Ref,:wtf Floyd throws a straight right, and that's all she wrote.

SO EXACTLY WHAT IS FLOYD GUILTY OF? OTHER THAN SHOWING THE WORLD THAT HE COMES TO THE RING TO FIGHT, NOT PLAY GAMES.:bbb

WAS HE SUPPOSE TO SAY "HEY ORTIZ. I NEED YOU TO PUT YOUR HANDS UP BEFORE I CAN HIT YOU. OH, YOUR NOT READY. OK, I'LL WAIT."

Only thing that Floyd can do to make these cats happy is lose. They complain about something in everyone of his fights, he always cheats, has help from the refs, or the judges or both. Every fighter he beats is crap until his next fight against Pac, or Cotto, then he is great after one of them beat him.

He was supposed to jab. That oughta send him a message without taking the entire damn game.

just so he had a legit win maybe he should have not hit Ortiz when he was not expecting it and stopped him in the next two rounds like he probably would have . Ortiz was getting his clean with right hands and the left hook of Floyd was going to land eventually. Why not Floyd win a knockout in a real legit way. This way there is always the question that he hit Ortiz when he was not expecting it. Remember Marlon Starling. Usually had a strong chin (although he had great defense) and he fought Tomas Molinares and the bell rings and Starling gets hit on the chin and he is knocked out. The bell seemed to relax Starling to the point where the punch did more damage. So hitting a guy when he is ready does make a difference in a fight obviously.

Pretty much this. It ain't rocket science people. Fighters actually do this all the time. Floyd didn't o anything illegal but I guarantee you he didn't make any new fans.

He did send him a message with that first punch. Ortiz looked at the ref when he should have been putting his hands up. Right or wrong? Its the 2nd punch that did him in.

Ok, you're just talking about the implications? Because we know it was within the rules. Alright. Have a closer look at the timing of it all. The dry humps and french kisses from Ortiz were far excessive. Regardless. Mayweather unloaded on a guy with his hands completely at his sides. A guy who had just finished hugging him. A guy still in the act of drawing his arms back. Floyd Mayweather is a trained assassin. Highest order. It was a weak act from a man who has that level of precision and control. But most of the busters on this forum and elsewhere no little of responsibility, integrity, and honor. It's funny how people reveal themselves. The rest of us wanted to see a boxing match. Not this embarrassment.
