Thompson didn't get too many names in with him until he was 40+ (barring Wlad) but even still, he had an incredible number of wins as the underdog relative to his number of fights. Possibly more than ten. In one of Thompson's early fights after he'd been beaten once he got dropped twice in the first round by an undefeated prospect and got up to stop him in the first. He had a cool career.

If by any chance McKean replaces Whyte, then who should fight Hrgovic? It would be unfair if he dropped from the card.

I think they’ll put him in with a bum. Hearn doesn’t want history to repeat with Joshua being upset by a short notice opponent.

Kabayel also offers himself, an undefeated but harmless opponent without too much power...

AJ still the money man of the division.

Plenty Fighters ready to step in on 7 days notice as just getting in the ring with AJ is winning the lottery.

I don't take my hand off my smartphone because I'm constantly waiting for fresh news, this is exhausting, but I have to keep reading the news.

Thompson repeatedly called out Fury after dealing with Price. Fury ducked and called out Pajkic's bum ass.

Joshua should fight Wallin or Ruiz. Washington or Rahman or any of those low level guys would be a total joke. Hunter is a good fighter but he’s had a long lay off.

It will be a 0 risk fight. Hopefully not a guy who's only had 12 fights and lost to Hardy. Rahman Jr is terrible.
Delboy and Washington both have a bit of name value but neither should get the fight. Del Boy should hang them up and Washington has been on a poor run and the same probably applies.

Could they go left field and offer to a decent domestic level fighter? Wardley?

Its a tricky position to be in.. I think AJ genuinely wants a competitive fight before going for a big fight against Wilder or who ever but he won't want someone who can derail the gravy train. If Kowanaki was still around he might have been the level they would look at. Would walk forward throwing heavy shots but 0 defense and someone ud think AJ should stop in 3-5 rounds.

Kabayel is the best option ranking wise, but might not be in shape.

Michael Hunter was in camp with AJ, a credible opponent.

Fabio Wardley was discussed for this card and certainly was in camp with Dillian. That's a good fight, plus he is with matchroom.

Helenius, Ajagba. There is several other decent names out there.

Id rather leave the Chisora and Hrgovic matchups intact, those are good ones.
