Stop complaining about Calderon. It is not his fault his opponents cannot hit him. Same goes for Floyd and Spinks.

Also to the guy who mentiond Roy watch some Roy Jones fights and then tell me he looked anything like any of these fighters. Roy was in a different league he didn't get hit but he threw way more punches harder punches and put his punches together better than any fighter mentioned above.

What the **** is wrong with some of ya'll?

Imagine if that guy got into a street fight and ran away like that?

He would get the **** beaten out of him and everyone would be like.....DAAAAMMMNNNN.

Yeah, it's boxing, but in boxing if you wanna make money, you gotta take RISKS!!!

Wouldn't you rather have your pride and take a loss rather than run and win like you are in ballet?

With Calderon being one of the few top/elite puertorican fighters at the moment I can understand that they defend him, and almost every person would do that in the same situation.

But some people though, support ONE-HUNDRED mexican boxers even when they are as good as me (very bad). And that seems to be you.:nut  :patsch :-(

I respect your opinion. Much better than name calling. Yes, you are probably right. He has a talent and skill. It's just the stlye that I don't like.

Come to think of it he would not have that kind of record if he did not have the skills. My apologies to the ivan calderon fans.

    Speak for yourself

Calderon is the most skilled fighter under 147, except maybe JMM.

Calderon went up in weight, fought the undisputed champ in his first fight, Calzares was rumored to have come into the fight weighing over 130, and Calderon survived a couple rocky rounds to pull a magnificent performace over a true champion that towered over him.

You fight to your strengths. If you wanna dog small, speedy fighter who win boxing circles around people then you might as well **** on strong, squat fighters who only throw hooks, or tall, rangy people who just jab people to death---theyre all just playing to their strengths. Many people dont choose their style freely.

My brother was at the Cazeres fight and told me that even though it was a tough fight Ivan clearly won...now this last weekend he won easily.....Cazeres talked a lot of shot...was not able to back it up..Calderon is master boxer...if he was fighting at 122 he would be a start

I think the final punch stat on jabs was like 109 - 9 in favor of Calderon. I have never seen that before. Calderon won the fight, not even close to even be argued about.
