So far what's been good?...and NOT so good.

i think the most disappointing fight of the year so far is diaz-katsidis... everyone thought this was gonna be absolutely sick and then katsidis goes out and tries to box for 12 rounds... the fight was ok but definitely didn't live up to expectations

another shitty "big" fight was hopkins-calzaghe but at least we were aware that was gonna suck...

and klitschko-ibragimov... that was frickin horrible also

The worst fight ive seen all year has to go to Klitschko vs. Ibragimov

Yeah, I was kind of shocked it wasnt number one on their list. I am assuming they forgot how great the fight was. :good

 

Yeah before that fight i wasnt that amped i thought they would be pretty ruined (mainly marquez), but that was a straight up classic.
I worked in the morning and when i got home i thought it was over, but turn on sopcast and there it was the pre fight talk.

 

I love how stuff works out that way. It's the best fight I have seen. Great fight and the 12th round was so dramatic. Izzy really needed that round. I have watched it like 15 times already. Great night of boxing. :good

 

Yeah me too mate, it all falls in place.
Yeah one of my fav's as well.
The 12th round was very dramatic, i was thinking can Rafa hold on this round.
Also finally seeing Rafa kd Izzy for Izzy to come back immediately.
A ver ygreat fight, i wish it was a draw.

In the final two fights you see Izzy is the stronger fighter but in the first Rafa imo was.

 

Agreed, a part of me wants to see a fourth fight but at the same time kind of worried about their health. I hope they got paid well because those fights are gonna take their toll. Both of them are my favorite fighters too. Izzy is number one then Rafa. :thumbsup

 

Yeah i like both fighters too, but i was going for Rafa that little bit more, probably cos he was moving up to 122.
Same imo i feel Rafas wont take the fights well compared to Izzy.
I do not want to see either of them lose to guys that wouldnt have beat them years ago.
I watched an early Izzy fight and he was entertaining and good back then too.
Who would u pick in a 4th fight?

 

I like Izzy in that one. When I seen the third fight it looked like Rafa showed more wear and tear than Izzy. Also you have to factor in Izzy being the bigger stronger fighter. How do you like? :think

 

Yeah me too mate.
You can see Rafa through each fight get weaker imo.
Compare this to the surge that Izzy was able to muster up in the last round.
Also when i watched it i hoped Rafa would get the decision.

I see a Izzy ko imo.

Yeah, I love Rafa's style a little more than Izzys brawler style but damn cant stop that kind of determination. :bbb
