   Brooklyn who is ten times more knowledgeable about the game then you brought up Chavez and Nelson as examples on how Pernell Whittaker deals with pressure fighters and fighters on the inside. Dude seriously what is your ****ing deal? Are you seriously this stupid? Are you jealous you know nothing about the sport? Are you jealous you are looking this sad and cant carry a discussion. Come on lil guy, there's still hope for you. Watch a few more fights and maybe then you might have some knowledge, even enough where you can carry a decent argument. *****.:rofl

The rest of your post was too stupid to bother with, and you've been handled enough on it, so I'll just quote this part. Not just because only a ****** would think it was a prime Whitaker, but because you yourself in a very recent thread said Whitaker was flat out robbed.

Hey Sweet Crack? I was wondering when you'd be around to defend your boy. Too busy scoring?

Anyways watch rounds 5-8 and get back to me. Most of Floyds offensive production came coming forward.

I think the reason for fighters only lacing up the gloves 2, 3, 4 times a year in today's scene is due to promoters, TV dates, and money. Back then, these guys had to fight often to make a decent living and support themselves and their families. I really believe that many elite fighters could fight 10, 12, even 20 times a year if need be, with the bulk of those fights coming against D and E level opposition. However, they would probably pick more losses up in the process just based on the rigorous schedule, which was the case decades ago.

That was Floyd's best performance, but he was on his bicycle, circling and using the ring to pot shot the entire night. Excellent performance, but you're a ****ing fool if you think Floyd came forward any more than in spurts. Corrales was walking him down unsuccessfully the entire night, and Floyd was outboxing him. Seriously, do you think he pressed Castillo in the rematch as well?

Really you're not a fan? Interesting. Very biased though.. Cotto, Armstrong, Gavilan, ODLH (Floyd already beat HIM YOU ****ING DUMBASS), Mosley... come on man stop dreaming.

Thats ****ing rich. YOU are not a boxing fan. A boxing fan would like to discuss boxing on a forum like this. But the ONLY thing I have ever seen you post about since I registered is to hate on Floyd. I cannot remember a SINGLE POST about anything else.

    What a ****ing joke.

As for my response to the thread.. I think there are some really obvious answers. Thomas Hearns for example. Too big, too much power, and he has pretty good hand speed and a good jab. Floyd wouldn't be able to do much in that fight. On the other hand, when you think about it its a natual super featherweight against a man that fought as high as 190 lbs later in his career, and was probably a 'natural' middleweight.

Some people seem to be sure about others but I'm not so sure myself. Sugar Ray Robinson for example. People are quick to call him the greatest fighter of all time, and if this is true of course he'd beat Floyd, right? Well honestly I couldn't even try to pick this fight. I have to point of eference. The fights of Robinson that I've seen were all grainy black and white footage, never seen him fight someone that has fought anyone Floyd fought. In fact, he was too far back in time to fight Floyd Sr. Maybe he could have fought Floyd's grandfather :p But still, its hard to compare fighters of such different eras. Styles were just so different then.

Sorry, I barely know who you are. Just the same old floyd hater ***** not uncommon around here. Although you seem exceedingly ***gish for their kind.

Explain how Mayweather beats Duran, despite the fact Hatton controlled the distance for 6 rounds and Castillo arguably won 7 or 8 rounds in their first fight and 5 in their second fight.

Floyd could possibly pick up a win or two from this list.

No. But he should have. In the 1st fight he is holding his own and at times besting Castillo on the inside, even with a hurt shoulder. I think he could have beat Castillo on the inside in their second fight. Fighting off the back foot just gave Castillo rounds he shouldnt have won when Floyd could hit him at will.
