margarito also made a hughe statement whe he destroyed cotto, and beaten a much credible opponent in cotto, oscar did looked terrible therefore made pacquiao looked like a god. If floyd comes back I'll bet you he will fight pac, beat him and retire before anybody can hint a margarito or cotto fight.

PBF will fight Pac instead of Margarito because he sees Pac as High Reward, Low Risk...DLH made the same assesment and he paid for it...If they fight I may be wrong, but Pacquiao always surprises us..He was the underdog against 1st fight with MAB and the 2nd fight with EM..And I thought David Diaz and DLH were too big for him

i think pbf and pac is a great fight which is great for many reasons-not the least of which is that any outcome seems plausible-ko's for either one decisions for either one

had dlh cut to 147 instead of attempting to naturally weigh less, he would have been bigger than Pac.

A lot of people made the prediction of DLH being a lot bigger than pac because we thought this is what he would do.

floyd is not coming back. and if he is y do u give a ****. boxing is much better without him.
90% of ppl that want to see floyd back is becuz the wanna see him lose of knocked out. and the other 10% are fan who just want to see him return

Margarito should first take care of the man that beat him to be considered in real megafights.

  9. PBF is beyond Cotto, Margarito, and Pacquiao. If Mayweather waits too long to return that is only going to hurt his legacy

Conveniently meaning Floyd doesnt have to go up against the Margarito threshing machine. So Floyd is saved by a pretence of sporting honour and nobility.Just like Oscar.Funny that.
Interesting how Oscar didnt insist Shane avenge his losses before fight 2,or Floyd insist Judah avenge his Baldo defeat.
The sport is already in a moribund state, strangled by politics and **** fights, without this phony chivalrous BS about 'sorting out your business' to avoid fighting your biggest fear.
Its already hard enough to get the top matches without that fear inspired escape clause.

Pac would present Floyd with more problems than either Margarito or Cotto IMO.

It would be a boxing tragedy if Floyd Mayweather were never to fight again, love him, hate him or cant make your mind up about him, anyone that thinks boxing is better without Mayweather should start watching tennis.

pac is a much bigger name then margarito, therefore bigger$
its no surprise, that a pac fight would entice floyd to unretire, more so than a fight with margarito

Agreed. Also far less likely to get beaten up.
I can understand him avoiding Margo.I will also add that he wont fight him no matter how well known a name he becomes.
    Lets get that bit straight.

uhhh. Pac or Margarito? Let me see

One is a mega-superstar, p4p king, legend, hall of famer and atg coming off an annihilation of Oscar De La Hoya. The other is just a really good fighter.

    Wheres the debate?
