This may seem counter-intuitive, but I actually think Easter's best chance is to grind and make things messy against Garcia. If he stays at range and attempts to box, he probably gets countered into oblivion. But, forcing Garcia back and swamping him with volume might make Garcia a bit uncomfortable and force him into a fight that he doesn't necessarily enjoy. I've got Garcia by decision, but I wouldn't entirely rule out an upset based on the way their respective styles might mesh.

Garcia by UD. Easter Bunny gets no gifts this time around, as he got a full basket in his last fight.

Mikey TKO 10. Garcia punches very hard at 135 and Easter gets caught clean often.

Garcia by stoppage. If Easter is getting gift decisions against Shafikov, and Fortuna, Mikey will eat him alive. Easter has turned out to be a dud. Not sure what happened to him. At one point he was looking like a more refined version of Paul Williams, he never blossomed into that though. He's been looking like straight up garbage recently.

Easter gives up his advantages and Mikey is just a machine. He feasts on mistakes. I have to take Mikey, probably by a late round stoppage.

Still haven't decided if I'm going to the fight or not. Downtown LA is such a pain in the ass.

easter better use his sylistically advantages. be ready to guard his body. and realize he better hurt mikey cuz mikey is gonna have to take some to give some if he plays his cards right.

easter cant afford to fight stupid hes gonna get caught by mikey. its all about easter power. is he power strong enough to keep mikey at him .mikey is a jack of all trades he can adjust and do what ever needs to be done. and easter as well. thats why its a good fight , but i think mikey is just waaay more ready for this big fight. mikey is gonnna take broner and easter out .

If you have a reach of 76 inches at lightweight you fight like Hearns go the body and head with the jab and think right hand when Mikey makes any move. If the guy comes inside, go to the body with the lefthook. Hearns really was a great, you cannot expect people to do well just on the height and reach or everyone would do it. I don't see how anyone with a long reach does not mimic Thomas Hearns or try to or at least use it. Paul Williams to me gave away a little of his advantages. Obviously mimicking someone is not the same as being that person. Hearns was original. Breland was the Hearns style, but he could not take the fighting when it got tough. Hearns could

Easter has to extend it and put a good right hand on Mikey and he can stop him. That height and reach if used right.. Too bad he doesn't have a trainer to get the most out of it.

Mikey’s last fight was at 140. It seems like he’s quite serious about fighting Spence at the end of this year. And now he’s fighting at lightweight. Can he be cutting too much weight for this fight so it will affect him negatively?

    mikey in 6.
easter rarely tucks his chin, unless hes shelled up with sides exposed. he has no head movement and keeps his gloves below his chin. he is tailor made for a sharpshooter like mikey. mikeys 1-2, hook to the body and uppercut, are going to take all the fight out of easter before stopping him. after the second rd, mikey will always know where easters head will be and will start trying to feint him into position, and catching him. easter is relatively tough so there will be lots of exchanges, which easter will get the worst of, destroying his confidence.
if im underestimating easters heart, it goes 9, cause he is gonna be eating lots of highlight shots.
