Not Canelo throughout his career? Interesting this sudden dislike of diva demands and actions that Canelo fans have developed.

I thought Vanes was a poor choice and Dev getting frozen out is the same **** that robbed us of prime Golovkin getting big fights. Not down with that at all. BJS - I've said more than I care to about his soft as baby **** title reign. Now it's the forums Mexican contingent who seem unable to see all of the BS Canelo and - I genuinely wouldn't of thought I'd write this when he was a fighter - POS De La Hoya have been pulling these last few years.

    Look in the mirror.

Golovkin has complained for most of his pro career that he couldn't get the legacy-making fights he wanted. He also claimedmany times that he'd fight anyone from 154 to 168.

If he was still in his prime, and took an easy fight to ensure the Canelo II payday, it might not be so bad, but Golovkin is running out of time, and CLEARLY past his prime. The time to fight top opponents is NOW, not even in a year.
So, he just had a chance to build that legacy he always complains about ....... and chose to fight Vanes. Tick ..... tick ..... tick .......

I'm still a Golovkin fan, but the shine is wearing off.

    You're jumping the gun.

If GGG fights someone other than a mandatory, Saunders or Canelo next, by all means he deserves criticism.

But until then, hold your horses. GGG would have "ducked" Wade too if the alternative was a Canelo fight.

BTW Jermall Charlo speaks very highly of Golovkin.

Charlo is real, but he'll have to wait a while for his shot as the rematch and Saunders fights make more money, also the IBF mandatory is due sooner.

I only hope that he gets a chance in 2019 or earlier. The big question is who will be the next dominant MW after GGG, and Charlo is definitely in the mix, along with Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, and perhaps Derevyanchenko.

So exactly who is GGG supposed to fight in December?

Apparently he's ducking Canelo, Charlo, Derevyanchenko, and Saunders at the same time from what I've heard.
