your post is illogical. If they looked at his record and said it was weak then why wouldn't they want to fight, especially since he's a world champ who's the 2nd or maybe 1st best drawer at 160? Why would Geale, with no title because he just lost it, pass on an HBO broadcasted world title shot? Huh? I'll answer for you. Fear. He KNOWS he'll lose and likely get KO'd and then he's just another GGG victim. You need to stop using words like nut- huggers and use your brain, if you have one. Better yet, take your 200 some posts and stop trolling on a website with an actual topic.
Calm down Sally. You say I'm trolling? Why? Because I do not believe that everybody is ducking golovkin? I have no doubt there are a couple that do not want to fight him, but I do not believe for one second that the mighty Lee and Adama are the only people willing to fight him.
Golovkin is a **** stain for the middleweight division right now. Before Golovkin, there where a host of up and coming mw's that were grooming themselves to be in a position to take the aging Sergio Martinez crown, the future looked bright. Hopes were high and ambitions were great, untill Golovkin started making noise. At first, these guys were saying Golovkin who? Then it was that he isn't a draw, then it was silence followed by excuses. Everyone still has their eye on Sergio's crown and they don't want to tangle with the elephant in the room known as GGG. If GGG had the crown, they would be going for it, but he doesn't, Sergio does. Why would they take on golovkin now, when they could wait for him to be a be an even bigger draw? These guys know their craft, they swap opponents, sparring partners, trainers, scouts and share friends in the business, they know Golovkin and Sergio are on a collision course. If GGG wins, they can fight him for all the marbles, if he loses, they can go around him. The dumb thing for these guys would be to fight Golovkin now, and they know this. Golovkin is stuck fighting the guys that are at the back of the line, because it is those guys only chance to get in the front of the line. Golovkin doesn't mind, he just has to keep fighting on HBO and knocking guys out, the casual fan doesn't fret over anything more than who is number #1, and who is the bad ass that's going to become #1. This is how the stage is set untill Sergio or GGG lose a fight, after that it will be a different scene. Nobody is afraid to fight GGG when he has the biggest reward to offer, but they are afraid to fight him before it makes sense.
the fighters that have everything to lose whihc they will lose are NOT looking GGGs way for fear of losing their possible big paydays which they will because they will ne destroyed by GGG his resume (all of them) mean sh!t !!!, the fighters see his skill and understand how greatly skilled he is along with devastating power and a as solid as can be chin and great stamina. NO ONE at 160 or 168 is going to beat him. he will move up soon, he wants to hold SM to his word, he said 1 warm up (cotto) then he will take care of GGG, , he will literally be selling his belt an buying a beatdown to and from GGG
Golovkin/Martinez is a fight HBO wants, after Martinez beats Cotto, Golovkin is supposed to get a big money shot at Martinez. The short list of opponents for Golovkin was: Geale, Kirkland or Lee, looks as if Geale chickened out and Kirkland flat out refused to come anywhere near Golovkin, so who is Golovkin supposed to fight?! The referee?! Golovkin just needs to keep on fighting, get the exposure, then he will get the big fight.........Golovkin is the best middleweight in the world today, he is the WBA champion and will fight anyone at 160. He is the best, the others know it!!! Golovkin will fight his mandatory as needed/WBA.....................he is the champion.............
The problem I have with this way of looking at it though is this: A fighter's skills are never truly on display until they fight someone who actually tests them. Bute sure looked skilled before he stepped up and got his ass handed to him. I understand that you would judge a fighter by his skills over his record, but surely it's his skills against the top opposition that really confirms how good/bad a fighter is? And for the record, I still don't quite understand why so many people on here claim he can beat everyone at 168, like you just have, when he has never even fought at that weight :huh
You obviously don't like golovkin, I suggest you stop watching him and letting his choice of opponents affect you as much. Just stop taking an interest in him if it annoys you this much, it really is that simple.
On can look to Macklins career trajectory to see why guys might be less than willing to fight GGG - Macklin had been seen as a top 5 MW since 2011 when he fought and arguably beat Sturm. Since getting destroyed by GGG he's widely regarded as at best a fringe contender or shot. Let's just keep it at 160 for now - who at MW would you like to see him fight in April that would provide him a respectable challenge? Throw some actual names out there. Once you take out the guys who can't or won't the pickings are slim indeed.
More than half the time on here, iceman71 sounds like there's a **** ton of sand stuck in that vagina. Just complains a lot. :conf
Lee is pretty underrated.... I don't thing he stands much of a chance against GGG, but he could definitely beat Sperm and Pen Quill... those guys are nothing but paper champion cowards. Lee/GGG isn't as bad of a fight as some are making it out to be.
