So GGG is gonna lowball JACOBS & fight another bum claiming no1 will fight him?

Jacobs would still be GGG's best opponent to date. He could be getting offered the fight for free and some here would still say he's running if he doesn't accept and ruining the sport etc etc. Personally dislike seeing GGG's prime go to waste whilst GB waits for him to age.

 

I'm no GGG hater, I watch all his fights and you can't argue with his destructive power and skills. I just don't place him as high as some of his fans, that's all. That's not a crime, right?

 

Why should Jacobs get more than 25%? He should get what any other #1 contender gets.

Of course not. A little passive-aggressive for a comment, but no, not a crime. I have no idea how high other 3G fans rate him. Personally, on this site, mainly I see many say he's the best MW, even if not lineal. Sure there are a couple who go overboard, but that's the thing for every fighter w/ a bit of success. GGG is not a draw in boxing point blank period. Stop trying to force it. Great fighter, tremendous amount of respect for what he does in the ring. But again he is not a draw so please let's not pretend like he is. GGG is doing to other fighters, what Canelo is doing to him the only difference because he can't force Canelos hand because Canelo is the "A".

Why is it okay for GGG to turn down his biggest payday from Canelo? But Jacobs can't turn around and do the same?!

It is fine as long as there is no double standard. People who blame ggg for not taking 10 millions can not blame Jacob for wanting more than 25persen.
On the other hand, the ones who sided with canelo with the flat offer, can not blame ggg with intentionally let the purse bid do the bidness.

 

I really ****ing hope Jacobs wins the purse bid so GGG is forced to fight on Showtime or vacate. If he vacates it proves he's full of **** like the rest, refuses to take a challenge like Loma or Kov. It also shows it was never about belts or breaking a good record

I've seen a few say this, but how is Jacobs the best opponent to date? Has Jacobs actually separated himself from guys 3G beat? Jacobs has a couple solid wins, but nothing that really stands out. At least yet. I totally agree with you about 3G's prime being wasted. I've been watching boxing for 20+ years, and I can't say I recall such cowardice from potential opponents in the MW division. Even when Mike Tyson was decapitating foes, they still got in the ring with him.

 

You're right Jacobs isn't that far off from his previous opposition, I really wish GGG had the balls like Loma to challenge himself .

 

For starters, the offer from GBP to 34G has been ridiculed by just about everyone in boxing. What does that tell you? Realistically, if GBP wants canelo v. 3G, they will re-open talks when it gets closer to the proposed Sept 2017 meeting. Right now, it's all posturing from GBP.

Clearly he'll take canelo if the fight presents itself. As probably the biggest cash cow in boxing now, he'll be an interest to every boxer near his weight.

3g did not create the purse bid. Do you even understand the situation with 3G and Jacobs? 3G isn't dictating anything, certainly not the purse split. That's set by the boxing org.

 

Why don't you get some balls and step in the ring? You probably equate moving up in weight w/ taking risks and being great, right? Most newbie fans seem to think like that. Here's a difference that probably went over your head. How many of Loma's possible opponents outright refused to face him? Not even the same boat...
