If you thought Frampton-LSC was a "mismatch" then we were watching a different fight. Also, DeGale-Jack is a unification bout against 2 streaking fighters to see who the #1 in the division is. Even if you think its a mismatch, its an important fight. Similar with GGG-Jacobs, even if GGG is heavy favourite, its still match between the #1 and #2 in the division. If that's not a big 160 match, then literally nothing is. As for AJ-Wlad, you're going to be sadly disappointed when old man Wlad gets carried out.
It's boxing. We'll have some good matchups and a few great fights, but a lot more fights talked about than made. PBC will put on more shows, will show the odd decent fight like Thurman-Garcia, but then follow 3 million+ viewers on TV and positive buzz with shitty mismatches, and the project as a whole will continue as a relative failure. What I do predict is GGG will fight and beat Jacobs and Canelo, and get fighter of the year. And most of the year's best fights will be at 130 and 135 (but not enough good fights even there happen).
I picked Frampton to win without hesitation and he beat LSC 118-110 at worst it was 117-111 or 116-112, it wasn't nearly as competitive as most seem to think it was, Frampton won fairly handily. What evidence do you have to back up your asinine claim Wlad will be carried out of the ring on a stretcher? Molina, Breazeale, Johnson and ****ing Gavern weren't. No one and I mean NO ONE has prepare this roided one dimensional galute for someone like Wlad. Somehow you naively think because Wlad a counter puncher who never goes out of his way to seek a KO, had two survival minded tricky spoilerish fighters back to back, that he forgot how to KO come forward one two throwing inexperienced goons with bad defense and weak chins.
He'll be 41, up against a guy every bit as big as him, he wont have fought in almost 18 months, and hes been stopped before. Hes getting carried out.
Going into 2017 kell brook will continue to **** off the thread starter with his success. Whilst khan will continue to be the total laughing stock of boxing much to the annoyance of the thread starter.
