First off, not even Keith knows who hes fighting right now. So sorry internet scoops, nothings for sure right now.

What is for sure though, is that if Keith and Lucas did meet, it would be an AWESOME fight. What would be defining is a Thurman stoppage and then busts out a WWE style call out (like he normally does) on Floyds ass.

    THURMAN IN 4

Could you imagine Provodnikov-Matthysse? That would be this generation's Gatti-Ward.

He was hit with a hard overhand right that he didnt see coming...shook him upna bit he came back and won the round, he also took a few more clean hard rights throughout the fight and never wobbled held on or went down...incidently he also took big punches from Chavez who can punch and he handled them well, id say Thurman has a sturdy chin...

As for Lucas, he will always have a big punch but when faced against someone who can move and wont just stand and block he will always have a harder outing against those types...Thurman is taller, bigger and imo opinion punches harder...he has good lateral movement and can box and punch and is a finisher. ...bad fight for Lucas, he has one decent win against lamont who he caught early, Lamont is a stand and trade type of fighter,...Thurman KO 8...

People need to stop letting their emotions get in the way of picking fights and Thurman is a natural welterweight who is the hardest puncher in the division along with being a complete fighter. Heck, we don't even know if Lucas will maintain his Power at 147 and it's more like they're feeding Matthysse to Thurman.

Boxrec says they both have the same reach. Thurman is definitely a significantly bigger build naturally though.

I haven't seen much of Thurman but it seems he hits hard, has decent skills, is the bigger guy, and is quicker than Lucas. Lucas however is more experienced, has fought more at a higher level, has a great chin and also has decent skills and hits hard, probably harder than most the guys Thurman has fought even when you factor in the weight difference. Tough fight to call for me, do you go with the quicker, naturally bigger guy or the more experienced guy? I'd favour Thurman but wouldn't be surprised if Matthysse knocked him out.

Matthysse looks small for 147. If I was him I would only fight at 147 for big money.

Lucas caught Danny with some good shots but was able to withstand them due to having a pretty great chin.

Thurman on the other hand will twitch all over the canvas from one shot because he has a flaky chin.

i hope they make this one. it would be looked forward to by any genuine boxing fan because it has excitement written all over it.

Man how hot is 140-147? This would be a great fight, both guys could take this but I gotta give it to Thurman being the bigger guy with faster hands and a better boxer. I can see Luca walking into something big. Either way it would be a great fight! that being said it doesnt make sense for either guy at this point in their careers. Lucas needs a bounce back fight and Thurman needs name at 147 to move up the ranks to get a golden ticket fight against the man

Every fighter is, to some extent, but there is no doubt that Thurman's foot work and movement is much better than Matthusse's. So is/was Garcia's.
Thurman also has the faster hands. Faster than both Matthysse and Garcia.

Thurman took care of that other argentine pretty well... He was a banger too but was stopped to the body if i remember correctly.... This will be a tough fight and i think thurman will go downstairs noticing what garcia did with the low blows...

Matthysse should win because he has the better chin

Thurman has to much skill for Lucas dude would end knocking lucas out with a brutal body shot or uppercut
