Do you even know who the officers are at GBP? Schafer is an employee, his title is CEO. CEO's are fired and replaced all the time. Mayweather came crawling back to GOLDEN BOY to promote his fight this Sept. Schafer is NO LONGER WITH GOLDEN BOY. Ya dig?

The beautiful thing about being the BOSS, is that you make the most money, and you work the least. Oscar has assumed Schaefer's CEO position until he HIRES a replacement. Then Oscar can go back to wearing fishnets and snorting coke is he likes. He is after all the BOSS.

Schaefer never had the mgm booked, his plan all along was to not work with goldenboy on this upcoming fight...get a license somewhere else, and promote it with maybenever promotions, and al haymon.....problem is...

Oscar is n more than a FIGUREHEAD. He doesn't know how to run a business, and now that Schaefer's gone and most of the fighters are signed with Haymon, Oscar couldn't get Bob Arum to share any TR money, so he went to Mayweather and begged to be kept as MP's promotional company based on the work that Richard Scaefer put in early in the year.
LOL. It's going to take Oscar a lot of money to litigate Scheafer in the lawsuit and by next year Mayweather will have reorganized tto completely drop GBP services from their rooster.
As they say, all good things must come to an end. Now that Mayweather's name recognition far exceeds Golden Boy's, there is no longer any value in maintaining a GBP/Mayweather connection.
