So good to see JAMES TONEY back at a good weight and back in a boxing ring!

I hope we get to see the patented Toney counter right hand in action,

other than that the man should have retired years ago - his body has taken an obscene amount of binge eating abuse and for an old fighter that relied a lot on skill he can barely put two words together .

I dont like to see the older guys in this state - its sad beyond belief .

Yeah, Lice House was great at one time, but that time is long gone. Now it is like watching a car accident.

Toney is about the only guy who can lose 50lbs. and still have love handles.

What has Toney done in the last half decade to make you think he can beat a prime cruiserweight fighting in his backyard?

But as a huge Toney fan, I'm a bit pissed that it took so long for him to get in shape. Nearly ten years... He now proved that he can do it, it was all a matter of laziness. I feel it's too late now to really shake things up at HW, even should he beat that Lebedev. Why hasn't he gotten himself in shape some 4-5 years ago, when it really mattered against Rahman, Sam Peter (though he won the first fight and got robbed)... At 210lbs he would have been a real danger at HW, even a serious threat to the Klits, but at 235 lbs he was just able to hang in there with the big guys (which is remarkable in itself).

He made mistakes, what can you do. He can still beat the best fighters out there at cruiserweight IMO, so here's hoping he stays committed long enough to do so, and put the seal on an already HOF-class career.

Lebedev is slow, and a way past it Roy was actually able to outbox him at times.

Toney doesn't have much left, but I feel he definitely has enough left to beat Lebedev. Whether he gets the decision or not could play a factor, but I won't be at all surprised if Toney thoroughly outclasses Lebedev.

You're a known, biased Toney hater, therefore your posts can't even be taken seriously.

'Got the **** kicked out of him by sanderine williams, dave tiberi, midget griffin, sosa, and thadzi' - you haven't seen a single one of these fights, not even on youtube... you just looked up the results on boxrec. Toney didn't get beaten up by any of these guys.

According to your logic, the man in your avatar isn't an ATG since he 'got the **** kicked out of him' by Sugar Ray Seales, Vito Antufuermo, Willy Monroe and Bobby Watts... so you're also claiming that Marvin Hagler isn't an ATG, huh?

The best thing in your posts is the ridiculous amount of emoticons you use. Laughable...
