After Kimbo's last fight the cat is out of the bag...anybody who watched the fight isn't still likely on the band wagon.

None the less he still has interest and usually has entertaining fights but Elite XC shouldn't bank on him as their savior.

yeah alot of people i spoke to werent to excited about the last fight.... kimbo did show that hes catching on to mixed martial arts... he showed that he can do a little more than punch

people will still tune into him though.. especially if he wins his next fight dramtically

People tune in to watch Flava Flav too... it doesn't mean what they're tuning into is worth the hype.

Sometimes MMA does seem difficult to score. They give points for aggressiveness but not for takedown defense, On the ground you can get points for defense. You can get points for trying a submission (for being active) even though you donot get it. It is almost like you get points for ride time like wrestling. You can get a point for throwing a kick even if it hits the arm. All of these judges see things differently. some favor the ground stuff and give more points for it others favor the strikers. If you show alot of striking even though you don't land some judges will give you credit for it. It is strange. I did not see the fight so I have no opinion

They'll stop tuning in when he fights someone half decent and gets the **** kicked out of him, probably.

whats your point? doesnt mean that hes not a cash cow that could the sport could benefit from..

thats applicable to all fighters... unless they can manage to keep their name relevant .. such as tyson & roy jones did
once again ... whats the point?
like i said im not a big mma fan.... but according to the announcers and what i saw of the fight... he showed that he had some ground technique and that he's making progress

:huh Tyson and RJJ were actually elite fighters, though. They wouldn't have been beaten convincingly by anyone in the worlds top 30.

As for making progress, maybe some. But if he's nearly losing to freaking James Thompson of all people at his age, then he needs to make it a lot faster.

Overeem and Buentello would murder him now, never mind Fedor or Barnett.
