I know what you're saying, but maybe he's learned from that mistake.Carl Thompson is one of my favourite British fighters, and Carl Froch isn't,really, but has IMO been a better world champion.Plus,if George took a bit of a beating, can't really see how it could do him a lot of good.Maybe he could win, though I doubt it at this stage.Just my opinion, but better to wait,he's not exactly an old man.

Froch wins it late after being frustrated early on, with groves sticking and moving.

If groves trys to bring it early, he gets stopped early.

froch is just the tougher guy with the better engine. If groves wants to win this he will need to have better stamina than he has previously shown and use his head

Actually I think froch struggles when he tries to turn fights into a tear up - Dirrell, Kessler 1, Pascal first half of the fight.

Hes much better when he stays in control, hes got a really good, long jab to dictate fights with. Hes good at cranking it up and pouncing when the opportunities come, he smells blood well.

I think he'd control Groves early and slowly turn the heat up, bring in the heavy artillery in the mid rounds and stop him in 9/10. Could see Booth rescuing Groves between rounds.

Groves is just not seasoned enough at all for a warrior like Froch (I know!) in my book.

Though I give Froch credit for giving Groves his opportunity, that Joe didn't give Froch.

How much credit would groves get for beating froch a year or two later? I would give groves more credit for losing to froch now than beating him in 12-18 months time if you now what I mean.

I wonder whose side haye will be on on fight night.

  8. Obviously Groves.

  9. I think Groves causes Froch problems, if he fights the right fight and uses movement it's a winnable fight. Just hope he doesn't do it too much and stinks the place out.

You have to have Froch favourite to win but he can't take Groves lightly.

If stinking out the joint made victory certain you would do the same thing.

I reckon Froch's chin might finally crack in this fight

:deal If a half effed Kessler can give Froch probs then the same Groves who sparred very well against Kessler is fancying his chances here. Froch really doesn't want this fight but business comes first with Eddie!

Dirrell and Pascal fit a the bill like Groves but perhaps with an even bigger disparity. Talented, not fully proven but unable to handle the intensity and/or lacking the fortitude to fight. Groves showed he has something in him against the likes of Anderson but this is another level. I suggest he looks to box a disciplined 12 rounds as exchanges are not in his best interest.
