GGG starting so slow he gave up the 2/3 of the first three a reasonable scorer could give canelo 2/3 of the last 3
if he starts quicker he beats Canelo even more comfortably

If Derevyanchenko was such a slappy, GGG could've fought him a couple weeks ago instead of that underweight and fragile no-hoper. Sergiy was ready to go and willing to take the fight, but GGG decided to take the Path Easier Traveled.

I don't blame him for taking to soft, safe route, but then let's slow down the "He fights everyone they put in front of him!" nonsense.

Frankly, I think he was wise to avoid the fight. I think Derevyanchenko grinds him down slowly and painfully. Maybe we will get to see it soon.

Before the guy who was 22-22, Derevyanchenko fought Tureano Johnson, who was once GGG’s mandatory. You guys were ready to crucify GGG if he fought Tureano Johnson. :copas:

Blows me away the number of people who dis GGG because he won't fight Darevychenko next.

Never forget why these guys are doing this in the first place. FOR THE MONEY.

They are fighting for their families. They are fighting for their futures.

If you don't get this, then you don't get boxing or any other professional sport, for that matter.

He wouldn't be in this situation had he accepted his mandatory instead of refusing it so he could pad his record with a joke of an opponent.

Now the situation is very simple. Go with Canelo , or give up the belt. Many fighters before him have dropped belts to avoid mandatory defenses against little known opponents.

I don't understand why so many people can't understand this very simple situation.

Johnson wasn't a bad fight for an up and coming guy. He would have been another trash fight for Govkin though.

No, he wouldn't be in this situation if Canelo hadn't tested positive. Don't shift the blame to GGG that the big money fight didn't happen. Put it on Canelo. But don't penalize GGG for Canelo's cheating.

NO.. Canola played no part in Golovkin selecting Vanes as a replacement. That was all team GGG 's doing , k?

GGG had plenty options in front of him and he CHOSE the easy route available while refusing the window of opportunity he had to satisfy his IBF mandatory obligation.

Had he done the right thing , he would not be fighting to save his belt in the boardroom right now and its highly likely his cherry pick will cost him that belt.
