nope, actually it does make sense, let's put it this way: Floyd sure is a great fighter but for me Pac has done the impossible winning against great fighters in an impressive way. Floyd has fought vs JMM and Mosley after getting back from 'retirement' and at the same time Pac was fighting JMM, Clottey, Cotto, Hatton, Hoya, etc. Pac still has done more in my eyes and even though I think Floyd is a better fighter and will win against Pac, based on what Pac has done he is still #1.

I think Shane is a better fighter than Pac, does that makes him #1 PFP as of now?.. And you do know that pfp is all subjective so think what you will is all about opinions.

No. It was an impressive win against Mosley. If he were to beat Pac, or another incredible fighter (such as beating PW, or moving up to beat Martinez, etc)...Without Pac getting any wins... I'd give him #1 spot.
Pac's resumes better. Even looking at Morales, Barrera, and Marquez THOSE GUYS ARE LEGENDS! It'd be like comparing Judah, Baldomir, and Gatti to those 3. Not even close...Cuz Pac has beaten a lot of other fighters that Floyd has, or better ones

Tell me you guys that keep making this stupid ass argument understand how flawed it is???? Who to say that Floyd wouldnt have dominated the guys that Pac has been fighting over the past few years. OH wait he already did:yep except for Cotto and Clottey.

Get out of here with that stupid juke.

This is the reason that *******s tried to run this fight down from the start. They know that the winner of this fight would most likely jump back to the number one spot. Even though many felt that Floyd was already.

I the other Mega got it right. When you look at p4p it has to do more with skill then competition. It is a subjective comparison of boxers if fighter x and fighter y where the exact same weight who would win. quite often the best gauge of skill, talent and ability is the level of competition they have faced. it is not inconceivable that someone off of the street could be p4p fighter but we have no way to measure his ability in the ring so we must reserve judgement until he gets in the ring and faces good competition. The closes thing to the above example is the current Cuban invasion. Many people said that Gamboa posses p4p skills but judgement on his place p4p potential has to reserved until he faces some more top notch competition.

There is a slight difference btw p4p and ATG status. p4p you maybe the best on the planet skill and talent wise but to be an atg you must apply that skill and talent in the ring.

    No question about it.

Pac wants no part of Mayweather.
This is a fight that won't be remotely close.

Mayweather is unbeatable. He's proven himself time and time again.
He talks **** then backs it up.
Probably the best pure boxing talent we'll ever see in our lifetimes.
Perhaps the best pound for pound of all time.

I wanted Mosley to win the fight.

But I knew that wasn't going to happen.

P4P is subjective and as such I still have Manny above PBF.

    Don't agree? It's subjective you *******!!!

This poll is surprising considering the average Pac fan has 3 troll accounts.

Pacquiao's win over Cotto is greater than Mayweather's win over Mosley.
